Rochester Hills Shooting: Nine Wounded, Suspect Contained

At least nine people were shot at a recreation area in Rochester Hills, Michigan on Saturday, according to local police. A suspect is currently contained at a home surrounded by law enforcement.
The shooting occurred at approximately 3:00 PM at the Rochester Hills Recreation Area, located at 1000 Rochester Hills Drive. Police responded to reports of multiple shots fired and found multiple victims upon arrival.
The victims were transported to local hospitals, where their conditions are unknown at this time. The suspect, whose identity has not yet been released, barricaded themselves inside a nearby home after the shooting. Police have surrounded the home and are currently negotiating with the suspect.
